Exclusion of Dravid. Is it fair?

It's no wonder that the selection committe has added yet another twist in the turn by excluding the ex-captain of the Indian Cricket team who once lead the side on his own terms. Judging a player by his performance in mere 5 ODI's is by no means a way of dumping him out of the team and passing remarks on his calibre. A player like Dravid is an indispensable element in any team no matter what and is useful in all the critical conditions when most other players loose their temparament. If the selectors are thriving on the recent victory of the Indian Team in the T20's, it's just not fair. The new youngsters in the team are very young and they still need to be groomed under the guidance of the senior players which here are the Trio (Saurav, Sachin and Dravid). It's just the wave of celebration and triumph that seems to be influencing the minds of selectors who have such a short vision of the future of the Indian Team. If we go by what dilip vengsarkar said, we all know what he means rather than what he says in the public. It's got be a sinister attempt under the hood to end the career of the seniors and gradually dump them out of the Team for an excuse of indulging the young generation into the team. There is no way in which we can justify Dravid being kept out of the first two ODI's in sight of the future series coming up against Australia and South Africa. Dravid has given so much to the Indian team in the past and he is capable of transitioning all his experience in the present scenario too. It's just that he deserves a better chance in the current series against Pakistan and he certainly will bounce back in the team soon!
